Dry slopes and cliffs.Mostly restricted to one area on ridge and cliff. Shrubs ca. 1-1.5 m tall, with strict to arching stems; some plants still in full flower, others with only developing fruit (see Boufford et al. 26978). Petals waxy, yellow; stamens yellow.
