Xizang (Tibet): Gongjue (Gongjo) Xian. Along the Re Qu (Re River) ca. 11.5 km in a straight line NE of the city of Gongjue on road to Doba Cun (Zeba in Tibetan). Slope with dark, rich soil above river; with shrubby Potentilla, Berberis, Spiraea, Lonicera, Sibiraea and diverse herbs. 30°57'40"N, 98°18'25"E; 3600 m.
On slope around shrubs. Plants to ca. 1.25 tall; corolla pale yellow; galea darker yellow.
