Xizang (Tibet): Riwoqe Xian. Road from Changdu (Chamdo) to Nangqen, Qinghai, along Lancang Jiang (Ge Qu, or Ge River), then W along tributary of Lancang Jiang on road to Riwoqe via Machala coal mine. Open areas and forested slope with Betula, Lonicera and scattered Picea. 31°28'45"N, 96°46'35"E; 3535 m.
Open, stony area between road and wood. Matted vine on ground; stems ca. 1.2 m long; tepals yellow.
