Xizang (Tibet): Maizhokunggar Xian. Ca. 5 km W of pass on road (highway 318) between Maizhokunggar (Medro Gongkar) and Linzhi (Nyingchi), E of the town of Maizhokunggar (Medro Gongkar). Heavily grazed meadow and disturbed slope on S side of highway; soil dark, wet, heavily compacted. 29°48'24"N, 92°21'0"E; 4820 m.
Rocky slope below Kobresia meadow. Flowers blue.
