Sichuan: Daofu Xian. SE of the city of Danba on road (highway 303) to Daofu and Kangding, then side road toward Yala Shengshan. Remnant forest of Larix, scattered Abies, some Picea and shrubs, especially Salix on moist slope. 30°30'37"N, 101°37'47"E; 3550-3600 m.
Beside river. Tree ca. 5 m tall; bark light brown, peeling.
