Pileus 4-7 cm in diam., brownish to ochre-brown, margin distinctly striate, covered with brown fine squamules. Lamellae adnate to slightly decurrent, white or pinkish. Stipe 5-8 x 0.5-1.5 cm, whitish, fibrillose, near base yellowish to yellow. Context white, unchanging.
