Pileus 7-10 cm in diam., densely covered with reddish brown, appressed squamules. Lamellae white, sometimes with pinkish tinge. Stipe 6-9 x 1.5-2 cm, whitish with pinkish tinge. Context in pileus white, inn stipe often pinkish. Taste mild.
