On ground in forest of Abies, Rhododendron and Salix at 4060 m.Pileus 5-7 cm in diam., convex, distinctly umbonate at disc, fulvous, without red tinge, disc darker. Lamellae free, white, edge white. Stipe 8.5-10.5 x 0.5-1 cm, whitish, covered with brown to fulvous squamules. Volva 2.5-4.5 x 1-2 cm, outer surface whitish, with rusty spots, inner surface brownish to whitish.
