On ground under Abies and Rhododendron at 4100 m.
Pileus 5-7 cm in diam., convex, sometimes concave, first dull yellow with brownish tinge (sometimes like that of A. phalloides), then brownish yellow, later paler, at all stages of development with greenish tinge. Vulva remnants on pileus greenish or yellowish, then whitish. Margin of pileus first faintly striate, then striate (R=10/35, 8/35). Lamellae white, margin yellowish. Stipe 9-12 x 0.8-1.5 cm, below annulus whitish to yellowish, above annulus yellowish, with whitish to yellowish squamules. Annulus cream colored to yellowish. Context white, unchanging.
