On ground under Salix at 4060 m.Pileus 5 cm in diam., convex, dark gray, without an umbo, with gray volval remnants. Lamellae free, white to gray; edge dark gray. Stipe 7 x 0.5-0.8 cm, attenuate upwards, whitish, covered with dark gray, belt-like squamules. Volva 1.5-2 x 1.5 cm, upper part gray (inner and outer surface), towards base becoming whitish.
