On ground in forest of Abies and Quercus at 4000 m.Pileus 8 cm in diam, convex, pale brown, indistinctly umbonate, margin striate (R=15/50). Lamellae free, white, edge brown to brownish. Stipe 14 x 0.8-1.7 cm, yellowish brown, attenuate upwards. Volva 4 x 2.5 cm, subcylindrical, outer surface ochraceous, inner surface pale ochraceous. With a slide. Cited: Mycologia 96: 643-645. 2004.
