On ground in forest of Abies and Rhododendron at 4100 m.Pileus 8 cm in diam., rugose, dull brown to violet tinge. Lamellae violet, with brownish tinge. Stipe 10 x 1.5-2 cm, upper part pale violet, lower part dirty white. Context whitish.
