On rotten wood in forest of Abies at 4000 m.Pileus 5-10 cm in diam., convex, dry, yellowish brown to ochraceous, paler (almost whitish) towards margin, covered with (sub) reflexed, brown squamules. Lamellae pale brown. Stipe 7-15 x 0.8-2 cm, dirty white or cream colored above annulus, cream colored below annulus, lower part covered with reflexed, brownish squamules. Context pale yellow to yellow. Taste mild. With line drawings.
