On ground in forest of Picea at 3450 m.
Pileus 4-6 cm in diam., convex, but often slightly depressed at disc, pale ochraceous, with reddish brown spots or zones. Lamellae pink. Stipe 3-4 x 1-2 cm, with orange tinge. Context pinkish to red; latex becoming red on exposure. Taste mild.
