Among mosses in forest of Abies and Rhododendron at 4060 m.Pileus 3-6 cm in diam., campanulate, dark brown, with grayish, fibrillose squamules, then pale brown. Lamellae brown. Stipe 5-8 x 0.4-0.7 cm, dirty white, sometimes with brownish to grayish tinge. Context brownish.
