On ground in forest of Quercus and Picea at 3400 m.
Pileus 2.5-5 cm in diam., convex, brown at disc, becoming grayish towards pileal margin, becoming paler when old, covered with tomentose squamules. Lamellae brown. Stipe dirty white to brownish. Context brown. Taste mild.
