Begonia grandis Dryander var. grandis
Sichuan: Luding Xian: Moxi. Gongga Shan, east side; downstream from Hailuo Guo Glacier; on S side of Bing He (Bing River; upstream portion of Moxi River) opposite Camp Number 1. Mixed broadleaved deciduous forests on steep, north-facing slope. 29°36'3"N, 102°4'5"E; 2050 m.
Around base of rocks in dark, rich soil in secondary forest. Plants producing numerous small, easily detached bulbils in axils; flowers pink, stamens yellow.
