Sichuan: Dawu Xian: Guoqia. Near confluence of Songlin and Guoqia rivers south of the city of Dawu [Daofu]. Mixed Picea, Abies and Quercus forests and adjacent grazed meadows. 30°51'1"N, 101°16'36"E; 3490-3550 m.
Purchased from Dawu market. Pileus yellowish brown, smooth, with white remnants, often xxx veil, margin striate, annulus appressed to stipe, saccate persistent volva, stipe yellow, lamellae yellow, pileus ca. 130 mm in diam., stipe ca. 170 mm x 28 mm, hollow stipe.
