Rheum nanun Lingelsheim ex Limpricht
Sichuan: Xiangcheng Xian. Crest of ridge along summit of Wuming Shan (dividing line between Daocheng and Xiangcheng Xian). Alpine meadows, dwarf Rhododendron scrub and rock fields. 29°8'46"N, 100°2'18"E; 4700 m.
In moss and grassy areas at base of rocky slope. Inflorescence dark red with greenish at tip. Initially identified as Rheum forrestii Diels. Synonyms: Aconogonon hookeri (Meisn.) H. Hara, Fl. E. Himalaya 631. 1966); Persicaria acaulis Gross, Bull. Géogr. Bot. 23: 28 (1913); Persicaria hookeri (Meisn.) Ronse Decr., Bot. J. Linn. Soc. 98(4): 367 (1988); Polygonum hookeri Meisn., Ann. Sci. Nat., Bot. sér. 5, 6: 352 (1866).
