Yunnan: Gongshan Zizhi Xian: Dulongjiang Xiang. At Maku Village, W side of the Dulong Jiang valley, ca. 4.4 direct km NE of the Myanmar border. Subtropical evergreen broadleaved forest. Lithocarpus predominating; mostly primary forest with some patches of secondary forest. 27°41'53"N, 98°18'13"E; 2250 m.
Growing at forest margin. SE-facing. humus. Base rock: granite. Slope 10-30°. Evergreen tree with spreading crown. Fruit green with brown hairs. Occasional.
