Yunnan: Fugong Xian: Lumadeng Xiang. Yaping Cun, in the vicinity of Shibali, on the S side of N fork of Yamu He, E side of Gaoligong Shan. Subtropical evergreen broadleaved forest. Dominated by Fagaceae and Lauraceae along with Tsuga, Picea, Taxus, Acer, and Rhododendron. 27°10'3"N, 98°46'17"E; 2510 m.
Growing on moist slope in forest. NE-facing. Loam. Base rock: granite. Slope 30-60°. Shrub 2-3 m tall. Fruit green Rare.
